Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Question: Do I have to print the translation in color?
Answer: No. A black-and-white copy is perfectly sufficient for Japanese authorities and car rental companies, as long as the document (especially the stamp and text) is clearly legible.
Question: Can I also do this at FamilyMart, Lawson, MINISTOP, or the Poplar Group?
Answer: Yes, that is also possible. If you would like to print there, please let us know in advance. These stores require a different print code that we must first request. Since 7-Eleven has the densest network in Japan, we generally recommend printing there.
Question: What should I do if I don't have internet at the 7-Eleven?
Answer: 7-Eleven often offers free Wi-Fi, but it is safer to prepare the print code while connected to your hotel's Wi-Fi and take a screenshot of it.
